- Commit thy works unto the Lord,

and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver! - He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good:

sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - A froward man soweth strife:
and a whisperer separateth chief friends. - He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.Next verse!With image
