| Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God. | For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. |
| I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. | Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? | The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. | This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. | Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. |
| And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. | And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. |
