Can’t (2/3)

For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there!
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised! His greatness is unsearchable.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.
Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble. Those who love your law have great peace. Nothing causes them to stumble.
How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.
In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.”Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.”
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
