- And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
- Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it. - Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
- A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
- Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
- Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
- O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
- Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment,
and equity; yea, every good path. - Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
- How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings,
that publisheth peace;
that bringeth good tidings of good,
that publisheth salvation;
that saith unto Zion,
Thy God reigneth! - The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell together in unity! - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
- And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.Delight thyself also in the Lord:

and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
