- The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. - For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.
- Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.
- The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. - The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious;
but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. - And rend your heart,
and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil. - And therefore will the Lord wait,
that he may be gracious unto you,
and therefore will he be exalted,
that he may have mercy upon you:
for the Lord is a God of judgment:
blessed are all they that wait for him. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
- Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. - Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
- Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
- Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
- A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth:
he will guide his affairs with discretion. - Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
- But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
- For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.Next verse!With image
