- He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
- For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
- The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what is in the darkness,
and the light dwelleth with him. - The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
- And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
- But he knoweth the way that I take:
when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot hath held his steps,
his way have I kept, and not declined. - Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
- For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well.
Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
