- Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
- And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
- And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
- Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you. - O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil. - But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
- The Lord God is my strength,
and he will make my feet like hinds' feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. - And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
- To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
- And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. - It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy,
and after vows to make enquiry. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
- Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
- The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. - Whither shall I go from thy spirit?
or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there:
if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. - Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
- Shew me thy ways, O Lord;
teach me thy paths. - If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
- And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.Delight thyself also in the Lord:
