- The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich:
he bringeth low, and lifteth up. - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. - A man's gift maketh room for him,
and bringeth him before great men. - The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich,
and he addeth no sorrow with it. - A wise son maketh a glad father:
but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother. - Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. - And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
- The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. - And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
- As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
- He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
- Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man.Next verse!With image
