So (3/4)

Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.
Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin.
Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.Don’t deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn’t tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.Yahweh said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don’t stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of Yahweh.
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.
So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation. As newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow.
For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit.
Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.
In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith. For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.
And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming. Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.
As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owners except to feast their eyes on them? When goods increase, those who eat them are increased; and what advantage is there to its owner, except to feast on them with his eyes?
So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him.
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse.

For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.
