- And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
- Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
- Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- Only by pride cometh contention:
but with the well advised is wisdom. - His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
- But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
- O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
- For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well. - While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
- Learn to do well; seek judgment,
relieve the oppressed,
judge the fatherless,
plead for the widow. - Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.
- Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
- And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
- And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
- A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth:
he will guide his affairs with discretion. - Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
- How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
- But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
- Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
- Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
- But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
- In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
- But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
- But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee. Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. He giveth power to the faint;
