| For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. | Porque nada me propus saber entre vós, senão a Jesus Cristo e este crucificado. |
| But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. | Mas, como está escrito: As coisas que o olho não viu, e o ouvido não ouviu, e não subiram ao coração do homem são as que Deus preparou para os que o amam. |
| But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. | Mas Deus no-las revelou pelo seu Espírito; porque o Espírito penetra todas as coisas, ainda as profundezas de Deus. |
