| Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. | Non dormiamo dunque come gli altri, ma restiamo svegli e siamo sobrii. |
| Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. | Perciò confortatevi a vicenda edificandovi gli uni gli altri, come gia fate. |
| See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. | Guardatevi dal rendere male per male ad alcuno; ma cercate sempre il bene tra voi e con tutti. |
| Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. | State sempre lieti, pregate incessantemente, in ogni cosa rendete grazie; questa è infatti la volontà di Dio in Cristo Gesù verso di voi. |
| Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. | Esaminate ogni cosa, tenete ciò che è buono. Astenetevi da ogni specie di male. |
| Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. | Colui che vi chiama è fedele e farà tutto questo! |
