- Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”
- On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.Next verse!With image
