- There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
- The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich:
he bringeth low, and lifteth up. - Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.Next verse!With image
