- The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

- I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. - Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
- He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what is in the darkness,
and the light dwelleth with him. - Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
- Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
- But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
- But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
- Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out:
he is excellent in power, and in judgment,
and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
- For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night. - It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven,
and hath founded his troop in the earth;
he that calleth for the waters of the sea,
and poureth them out upon the face of the earth:
The Lord is his name. - And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
