| Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. | Ten slotte nog dit: Blijf op de Heer vertrouwen. Hij zal jullie steunen met zijn grote macht. |

| Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. | Gebruik Gods wapens, en verdedig je daarmee tegen de slechte bedoelingen van de duivel. |

| For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. | Want we vechten niet tegen mensen, maar tegen machten en krachten die over de wereld willen heersen. We vechten tegen de leiders van de duisternis, tegen de hoogste kwade machten. |
