| En el principio era el Verbo, el Verbo estaba con Dios y el Verbo era Dios. | In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. |
| Todas las cosas por medio de él fueron hechas, y sin él nada de lo que ha sido hecho fue hecho. | All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. |
