Evangelism (2/2)

  • For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
  • But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
  • So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
  • And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
  • Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
  • For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
  • Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”
  • Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
    “Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
  • Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
  • How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house.
  • Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.
  • And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
    Justified in the Spirit,
    Seen by angels,
    Preached among the Gentiles,
    Believed on in the world,
    Received up in glory.
  • Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

Bible verse of the day

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.
