- Nevertheless in Your great mercy
You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them;
For You are God, gracious and merciful. - But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
- Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered. - When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”
- “Come now, and let us reason together,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool.” - He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
- Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
- Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
- He will again have compassion on us,
And will subdue our iniquities.
You will cast all our sins
Into the depths of the sea. - Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
And they divided His garments and cast lots. - Take words with you,
And return to the Lord.
Say to Him,
“Take away all iniquity;
Receive us graciously,
For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.” - Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
- And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
