- No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

- So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
- Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- Our God is in the heavens;
he does all that he pleases. - And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.
- But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
- The Almighty—we cannot find him;
he is great in power;
justice and abundant righteousness he will not violate. - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
- For a thousand years in your sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
or as a watch in the night. - Who builds his upper chambers in the heavens
and founds his vault upon the earth;
who calls for the waters of the sea
and pours them out upon the surface of the earth—
the Lord is his name. - And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!
