Grace (2/2)

Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy. No one who conceals transgressions will prosper, but one who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus. You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it?
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?
May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
But in your great mercy, you did not destroy them completely or abandon them forever. What a gracious and merciful God you are!Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.
Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins. For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.
For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him.For he has graciously granted you the privilege not only of believing in Christ, but of suffering for him as well.
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.The God of peace will shortly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
“Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.Rend your hearts and not your clothing. Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing.
Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!”Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.”
Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.Let the wicked forsake their way, and the unrighteous their thoughts; let them return to the Lord, that he may have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. You who want to be justified by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.Husbands, in the same way, show consideration for your wives in your life together, paying honor to the woman as the weaker sex, since they too are also heirs of the gracious gift of life—so that nothing may hinder your prayers.

even those who pierced him.
And all the nations of the world
