- For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
- I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - Therefore remove sorrow from your heart,
And put away evil from your flesh,
For childhood and youth are vanity. - But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. - Set me as a seal upon your heart,
As a seal upon your arm;
For love is as strong as death,
Jealousy as cruel as the grave;
Its flames are flames of fire,
A most vehement flame. - Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,

I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - My son, if your heart is wise,
My heart will rejoice—indeed, I myself. - “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” - Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to covetousness. - I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works. - Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident. - You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
- So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?”
- Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.
- He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be moved.
