- Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

“The Lord is my helper;

what can man do to me?” - Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
- For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
