- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
- And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
- But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
- And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
- No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.Next verse!With image
