- Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
- Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
- Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
- Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”Next verse!With image
