- But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction.
- There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.
- I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and be careful to obey my rules, and keep my Sabbaths holy that they may be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.
- The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple. - And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
- So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his commandments! - Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
- And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- The sum of your word is truth,
and every one of your righteous rules endures forever. - If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
- You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies and his statutes, which he has commanded you.
- You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.
- If anyone sins, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, though he did not know it, then realizes his guilt, he shall bear his iniquity.
- I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have given me life. - And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.
- For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
- Incline my heart to your testimonies,
and not to selfish gain! - We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules.
- Your testimonies are my heritage forever,
for they are the joy of my heart. - Hear, my son, and accept my words,
that the years of your life may be many. - The way of the Lord is a stronghold to the blameless,
but destruction to evildoers. - You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.
