Law (3/5)

Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him. Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.
We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. You and I are Jews by birth, not ‘sinners’ like the Gentiles. Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.
I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and be careful to obey my rules, and keep my Sabbaths holy that they may be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.‘I am the Lord your God,’ I told them. ‘Follow my decrees, pay attention to my regulations, and keep my Sabbath days holy, for they are a sign to remind you that I am the Lord your God.’
Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.
Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments!Praise the Lord! How joyful are those who fear the Lord and delight in obeying his commands.
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord. You must faithfully keep all my commands by putting them into practice, for I am the Lord.
But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction. But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies and his statutes, which he has commanded you.You must diligently obey the commands of the Lord your God—all the laws and decrees he has given you.
The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever. The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever.
If anyone sins, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, though he did not know it, then realizes his guilt, he shall bear his iniquity.Suppose you sin by violating one of the Lord’s commands. Even if you are unaware of what you have done, you are guilty and will be punished for your sin.
You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.Do not add to or subtract from these commands I am giving you. Just obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.Your laws are my treasure; they are my heart’s delight.
You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.
For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
The way of the Lord is a stronghold to the blameless, but destruction to evildoers. The way of the Lord is a stronghold to those with integrity, but it destroys the wicked.
And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.
I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life.
In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul.Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.
In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches.
We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules. But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulations.

There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?

When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.
