| And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. | And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. |
| What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. | What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! |

| And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. | And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. |

| But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. | But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream. |
| But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. | But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul. |
| Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
