- But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.
- The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes. - For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth.
- You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light. - But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.Next verse!With image
