- But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.
- The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes. - For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth.
- You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light. - But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.Next verse!With image
