| Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” | Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” |
| And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. | If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. |

| Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. | Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. |

| Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. | Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. | Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! | Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. |
| Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. | Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. |

| For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. | For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. |
