God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip. You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great. You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.
Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.
The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God?For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.
