- He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life:
but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. - The ransom of a man's life are his riches:
but the poor heareth not rebuke. - Only by pride cometh contention:
but with the well advised is wisdom. - Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:
but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. - Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. - He that walketh with wise men shall be wise:
but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.Next verse!With image
