- A faithful witness will not lie:
but a false witness will utter lies. - There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death. - In all labour there is profit:
but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. - He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding:
but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. - Righteousness exalteth a nation:
but sin is a reproach to any people.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.Next verse!With image
