| Porque em verdade vos digo que qualquer que disser a este monte: Ergue-te e lança-te no mar, e não duvidar em seu coração, mas crer que se fará aquilo que diz, tudo o que disser lhe será feito. | Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. |

| Por isso, vos digo que tudo o que pedirdes, orando, crede que o recebereis e tê-lo-eis. | Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. |

| E, quando estiverdes orando, perdoai, se tendes alguma coisa contra alguém, para que vosso Pai, que está nos céus, vos perdoe as vossas ofensas. | And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. |
