- For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;

and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,

in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me. - The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works.
