- When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.
- All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
- So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
- But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.Next verse!With image
