- God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. - Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord;
Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me. - The way of the Lord is strength for the upright,
But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity. - Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
- Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.
- He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved. - For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens,
And Your truth unto the clouds. - He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - The entirety of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. - Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. - Surely the Lord God does nothing,
Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. - “Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts.
- He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice;
Righteous and upright is He. - This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him. - I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
- For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm. - Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
- ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us.
- A faithful witness does not lie,
But a false witness will utter lies. - Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal truthfully are His delight.
