- The Lord is righteous in all his ways

but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”
- Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.
- Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way. - Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it. - He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
he is a shield to those who walk in integrity. - Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in the law of the Lord! - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my pleas for mercy!
In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness! - Give justice to the weak and the fatherless;
maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. - But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.
- But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
