- The hope of the righteous shall be gladness:
but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. - And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.

remove thy foot from evil. - He is the Rock, his work is perfect:

a God of truth and without iniquity,

he is excellent in power, and in judgment,

- Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
- Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
- Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought his judgment;
seek righteousness, seek meekness:
it may be ye shall be hid
in the day of the Lord's anger. - Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
- And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
