- Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior. - Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you,
nations in exchange for your life. - For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge. - I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
- For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
- For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
- Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
- But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
- I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
- I love you, Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
- That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
- Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
- For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
- Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise. - The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit. - But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
- Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long. - And, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
- For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
- For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
it is he who will save us. - For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.
The Lord will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone. I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.Next verse!With image
