Salvation (4/4)

  • Help us, God our Savior,
    for the glory of your name;
    deliver us and forgive our sins
    for your name’s sake.
  • I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!
  • This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
    he saved him out of all his troubles.
  • You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
  • Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
  • But I, with shouts of grateful praise,
    will sacrifice to you.
    What I have vowed I will make good.
    I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’
  • My times are in your hands;
    deliver me from the hands of my enemies,
    from those who pursue me.
  • If this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.
  • There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?
  • Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
  • Lord, save us!
    Lord, grant us success!
    Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
    From the house of the Lord we bless you.
  • Let your face shine on your servant;
    save me in your unfailing love.
  • Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
  • Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
