- Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. - Since you were precious in My sight,
You have been honored,
And I have loved you;
Therefore I will give men for you,
And people for your life. - For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
- In God is my salvation and my glory;
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, is in God. - I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
- For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
- For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
- That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
- Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
- For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
Save me, and I shall be saved,
For You are my praise. - The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit. - For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
- Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. - And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.
- For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
- For the Lord is our Judge,
The Lord is our Lawgiver,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us. - For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
