Bible Verses about 'Age'

  • Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
  • Even to your old age and gray hairs
    I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
    I have made you and I will carry you;
    I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
  • And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.
  • Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.
  • “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”
  • For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.
  • Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
  • You, Lord, reign forever;
    your throne endures from generation to generation.
  • Children’s children are a crown to the aged,
    and parents are the pride of their children.
  • Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
  • Start children off on the way they should go,
    and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
  • Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
  • For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
  • Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
  • The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.
  • Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
  • Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
  • Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
  • Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
  • Your statutes are my heritage forever;
    they are the joy of my heart.
  • May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had.
  • He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.
  • Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
  • So God created mankind in his own image,
    in the image of God he created them;
    male and female he created them.
  • For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.

Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?
