- And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
- Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
- The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein. - Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment,
and equity; yea, every good path. - And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. - And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
- Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
- For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
- He is despised and rejected of men;
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from him;
he was despised, and we esteemed him not. - And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
- Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
- Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
- He sent his word, and healed them,
and delivered them from their destructions. - For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
- And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
- A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself;
but the simple pass on, and are punished. - And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
- For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
- And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
- And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.Next verse!With image
