| Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! | What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? |
| One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. | One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. |
| Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. | Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. |
| I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. | I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. |
