Bible Verses about 'Continue'

  • Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
  • Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
  • What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
  • I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
  • Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
  • God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
  • And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
  • May God bless us still,
so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.
  • To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
  • Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.
  • I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
  • Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
  • The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.
  • Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
  • For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.
  • If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.
  • You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
  • ‘Return, faithless Israel,’ declares the Lord,
‘I will frown on you no longer,
for I am faithful,’ declares the Lord,
‘I will not be angry forever.’
  • The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
    Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
  • Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
  • I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.
  • The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.
  • For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.
  • As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
  • Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
    though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

Bible verse of the day

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
