- For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
- For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
- The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble. - For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. - For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
- For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
- Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
- For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
- But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
- Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
- For the Lord giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. - Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
- For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. - For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
he will save us.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.Next verse!With image
