Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. Isaiah 55:7	Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. righteousness conversion forgiveness
And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for. 1 John 5:15	And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. trust prayer listening

Moses remained there on the mountain with the Lord forty days and forty nights. In all that time he ate no bread and drank no water. The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Psalm 37:23	The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way. serving obedience trust
The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. Hebrews 1:3	He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. When you become aware of your guilt in any of these ways, you must confess your sin. Leviticus 5:5	When he realizes his guilt in any of these and confesses the sin he has committed, he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation for the sin that he has committed. confession sin

What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. Psalm 33:12	Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! God reward blessing
And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. James 1:13	Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. temptation desires understanding
Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. And he went to the place of the dead. There, in torment, he saw Abraham in the far distance with Lazarus at his side. The rich man shouted, ‘Father Abraham, have some pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Psalm 91:4	He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. protection reliability safety
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. 1 Peter 5:6	Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you. humility reward
