How great is your love (4/4)

Therefore, we love because he first loved us.We love because He first loved us.
This is how we can be certain that we abide in him and that he abides in us: he has given us a share in his Spirit. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
What then shall we say? Should we persist in sin in order that grace may abound? Of course not! We have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer? What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
I further pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know the hope to which he has called you, how rich and glorious is his inheritance in the saints.I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.
For God would not be so unjust as to ignore your work and the love that you have shown for his name by the services you have rendered to the saints and still continue to render.God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
Preferable is the little that the righteous possess than the great wealth of the wicked. For the power of the wicked will be overcome, but the Lord protects the righteous.Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.
I have made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
But I say to you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
Everything that you do should be done in love.Do everything in love.
He did not spare his own Son but gave him up for all of us. How then can he fail also to give us everything else along with him?He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
May mercy, peace, and love be granted you in abundance.Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance.
O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me; may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever.Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.
Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. For your faith grows ever more, and the love that all of you have for one another continues to increase. We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.
But the Almighty we cannot find; he is unequaled in power and judgment, and in his righteousness he will not violate justice. The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress.
With all humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in a spirit of love.Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
I give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you should also love one another.A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
The Lord, your God, is in your midst, a warrior and a savior. He will rejoice over you with gladness and renew you through his love. He will exult over you with shouts of joy.The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.
Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory because of your kindness and faithfulness. Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.
May the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ.May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
Over all these put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from acts that lead to death so that we may worship the living God.How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself; thus my lips will speak your praise. I will bless you all my life; with uplifted hands I will call on your name.Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.
But I have had help from God to this very day, and I stand here and testify to both the lowly and the great. I assert nothing more than what the Prophets and Moses said would occur: that the Christ must suffer, and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light to the people and to the Gentiles. But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.
This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
